Whilst I don’t hold any professional qualifications (apart from my SQL Server 2000 Database Administrator Certified Professional, which isn’t really relevant any more), I do hold memberships with other organisations, which I am proud to detail below:

Conisbrough Baptist Church

We’ve been members of Conisbrough Baptist Church since October 2008, having attended there since November 2007, and having the kids dedicated there in August 2008. Since then, both Caroline and I have been getting more and more involved in the church and community life. We’re both Deacons and members of the Worship and Web teams. I’m also the church sound engineer (non-official post!) and provide PA services at our Churches Together events at the local community centre at least twice a year.

Free Software Foundation Europe

I have been a Fellow of the FSFE since August 2012. I made the decision to join the FSFE as I am an advocate and user of Free software.

mensaBritish Mensa

I was invited to join British Mensa in May 2003, after a successful supervised test. I wouldn’t say that I was an active member of the Mensa community, but I’m understandably proud of my membership.
